FAQ

What purity standard do HK Compounds products meet?

Our specification is typically ≥99% by RP-HPLC, and every batch is analyzed by an independent laboratory. Certificates of Analysis are issued per lot and cover identity confirmation (LC-MS), purity (HPLC at 220 nm), and quantitative content.

Are these products safe for human or clinical use?

No. All products sold by HK Compounds are strictly for laboratory research. They are not intended — and must not be used — for human consumption, veterinary use, clinical trials, diagnostic purposes, or therapeutic application.

How should I store products on arrival?

Lyophilized peptides should be stored desiccated at −20 °C for long-term stability, or at 2–8 °C for short-term use. Reconstituted material should be kept at 2–8 °C, protected from light, and used within the timeframe indicated by your internal stability data.

What reconstitution solvent do you recommend?

The appropriate solvent depends on the compound and the intended assay. Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) and sterile saline are commonly used. Always consult your institutional safety guidelines and published solubility data for the specific compound in question.

Do you ship internationally?

At present, HK Compounds ships to research laboratories within the United States. International availability is under review as we build out our logistics capacity.

When do orders ship?

Orders placed before 2 PM Eastern on a business day ship the same day. Orders placed after 2 PM, on weekends, or on holidays ship the next business day.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes. Volume pricing is available on orders of 5 or more units of a single SKU, with additional discounts on orders of 10 or more. Contact us for a quote tailored to your laboratory’s needs.

What happens if I receive a damaged shipment?

Unopened products carry a 30-day quality guarantee. If a package arrives damaged or the material does not meet the specification on the accompanying Certificate of Analysis, contact us within 30 days and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Where can I find the Certificate of Analysis for my order?

Certificates of Analysis are available in our COA Library, indexed by product and lot number. Each shipment also includes the COA for the lot being delivered.
